<p>During the 2023 Eurovent Annual meeting in Rotterdam, Netherlands, the Eurovent Commission appointed Britta Permats, Managing Director at Svensk Ventilation, as its new Vice-Chairperson. </p>

<p>Robert Hild is the Managing Director at VDMA, the German engineering association. He has been involved in the Eurovent Commission since 2022. In our ‘Faces of the Eurovent Commission’, he gives us brief information on VDMA’s focus points and the core issues of Environmental Product Declaration.</p>

<p>Melek Unal Tavukcuoglu is the Director of ISKID, the Turkish Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Manufacturer’s Association. She has been with ISKID since 2014. In our ‘Faces of the Eurovent Commission series’ she shares with us the activities of ISKID and provides brief information about ISKID’s Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) awareness project.</p>

<p>De Rigo Refrigeration, one of the leading Italian manufacturers of commercial refrigeration units and cells has officially joined the Eurovent family as the association’s newest Corresponding Member. </p>

<p>Britta Permats is the Managing Director at Svensk Ventilation (The Swedish Ventilation Association), where she previously served as Technical and Environmental Manager. As part of our ‘Faces of the Eurovent Commission’ series, she gave us a synopsis of the Swedish IAQ and IEQ initiatives that Svensk Ventilation participates in.</p>

<p>Eurovent, REHVA and Nordic Ventilation Group have launched a common proposal on how to implement Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) requirements introduced by EPBD under revision. These new provisions added by the Commission`s and Parliament`s initiative, represent an important step forward to assure healthy and comfortable IEQ in buildings.</p>

<p>IAQmatters, a joint initiative of HVAC manufacturers in Europe and the Middle East, which provides solutions to ensure a healthy indoor climate, has welcomed Dr. Iyad Al Attar as the initiatives’ new Patron.</p>

<p>Marta San Román is the General Director of AFEC, the Spanish association of HVAC equipment manufacturers. In our ‘Faces of the Eurovent Commission’ series, she gives us her viewpoint on the F-Gas Regulation discussions in Spain.</p>

<p>Zehnder Group, one of the leaders in providing solutions for a comfortable indoor climate becomes Eurovent’s newest member. The membership was formally approved during the meeting of the Eurovent Board of Directors in May 2023.</p>

<p>Koja Group has formally joined Eurovent as a Corresponding Member. With this newest member, the Eurovent family grows by one of Finland’s leading manufacturers in HVAC technology and industrial fan solutions.</p>

<p>Eurovent has published a Spanish version of its Rooftop Units Guidebook. The Guidebook gives an insight into types, design, applications, operation, selection and maintenance of rooftop units.</p>
